I agree with much you say Frederick, particularly around taming the profit monster, and re-orientating society toward "social-businesses" and profit with purpose than raw shareholder value maximisation.

Regarding declining life expectancy due to Big Pharma and the lack of a universal health care system - I believe that is a phenomenon unique to the US (amongst OECD countries).
