I’d further add that what you perceive is further constrained by the extent of your vocabulary.

In some cultures (such as that of Homer’s of Iliad fame) – they didn’t have a word for blue for example, but described it as red.

How would your interpretation (and communication with others) of the world and life be different if you only had 3–4 colours to describe the world, or your language didn’t have the word “serendipity” (which only English has).
