If Puerto Rico began to riot around extradition to the mainland US (a country of which it is a part of no less), how would that be received?

Australia already has extradition arrangements in place with the US and is in the process of establishing them with China — neither of which it is a part of. There are no riots here.

Why do you think is it such a big deal in this instance? Hong Kong and Taiwan are both recognised as part of China by over 90% of the international community
