In a way…we are already immortal.

At an atomic level — our atoms will continue to exist until the end of time

At a biological level — our genes will continue on. If you have two children — 75% of you will continue on in them

It is only your full consciousness as it is now that will cease. However, my consciousness is not the same entity it was 20 years ago…and likely will not be the same 20 years from now
