Is there space/”real estate” within the wormholes? Does time work the same within them?

Perhaps there are opportunities to not just traverse them, but to use the worm holes for other purposes such as storage (eg time capsules, seed vaults, dispose of radio active refuse, space falls) or even colonisation?
