It sounds like we are the first aliens, who will go out seed the universe!

Whilst I’m sure humanity will branch off through various means of bio-hacking and cybernetic augmentations into new subspecies — there will likely be a portion of Luddites who do not embrace artificial enhancements and will remain in our current “natural form”. Almost like the Amish of the future?
