Refreshingly honest, and totally right.
I’d add: in your non-travel life, you are effectively on autopilot for much of your waking hours (commute to/from work, getting ready, the day of work itself) – and are only forging new experiences around these activities. When travelling – there is no autopilot, you’re “actively living and growing” all your waking hours. From tasting the water in a different country, to seeing the great wonders.
